Known
as Mr. Excitement, Boris began racing in his early teens,
riding motor-cross bicycles and motorcycles. At the age of
17 and after much success on two wheels, Boris found his passion
for stock car racing by working with a local late model race
team. Specializing in chassis setup, tire management and pit
strategy, Boris moved on to the position of Crew Chief for
an American Speed Association (ASA) race team, where he remained
for 2 years.
In
1997, Boris purchased his first late model stock car. His
first year as a driver, he earned 'Rookie of the Year' status
at Illiana Motor Speedway (IMS) and in 1998 was nominated
'Most Improved Driver' and captured his first Feature Win.

After
5 years of running the NASCAR touring RE/MAX Challange Series(now
the International Truck and Engine series) and local late
model races, 2002 proved to be the breakthrough year for Boris.
With 9 feature wins at IMS and 1 at Grundy County Speedway,
Boris captured the Illiana Motor Speedway track champinoship.
In
late 2002, Boris landed his first ASA ride driving for John
Brolick Motorsports. The three race deal exposed him to the
ranks of the "who's who" in short track stock car
racing.
Now
driving for Phil Hines in the number 66 racing Chevrolet Monte
Carlo. Boris raced in every ASA event in 2003, including doing
double duty in both the Patriot 200 and the BF Goodwrench
300 at Nashville.
